I was born in Guangzhou, China and grew up in Hong Kong where I had my high school and matriculation education from two of the most prestigious girl schools – namely Good Hope School and Maryknoll Convent School. It was in Hong Kong that I learned the Chinese language and one of the major Chinese dialects – Cantonese. I have also learned to speak Mandarin, the official dialect of China, here in the United States by watching Chinese movies on the Internet.

After graduation, I came to New York City in 1971 and I have “fallen in love at first sight” with this robust, dynamic, diversified and multi-cultural city ever since. New York City reminds me of Hong Kong where I came from.

With the ever fast-changing technology in the intensely competitive software arena, (and also ‘sick & tired’ of always having to study to barely catch up with the latest software), I decided to take the opportunity to be a real estate sales agent with one of the top real estate sales company in Manhattan – Douglas Elliman, in 2004.

As a long-time Manhattan resident since 1971, I understand the complexities of buying and selling properties in Manhattan through my years of volunteer service as an elected condo board member in the condominium where I lived, and through my personal experience as both a co-op and condo homeowner and investor. I am qualified to say I know New York City intimately well.
